Famous Drama Writer Khalil ur Rehman Qamar was honey-trapped by Amina Arooj. Khalil-ur-Rehman-Qamar, a well-known Pakistani playwright and screenwriter with controversial but immensely popular television shows and films, was involved in a scam in the second week of July.

Popular journalist Ahsan Shawkat shared pictures of the girl with more details about the incident, writing “Nine of the perpetrators, including four women, are under investigation; The group uses women to arrest well-known and wealthy people, who the Adarsh Nagar Organized Crime Unit arrests”.

Police sources said the said incident was masterminded by accused Hassan Shah, who is still at large but his aides have been arrested, Amina Arooj imagined that she was from the UK and wanted to do a drama serial, Amina Arooj told the police that she wanted to see him and then invited him to her house.

Amina Arooj hails from Gujranwala and belongs to an organized gang of upper-class robbers.

The honey trap incident involving Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar had a huge impact on the Pakistani entertainment industry.

It emphasized the need for adequate protection of individual privacy and highlighted the risks to the public.  Such unethical practices were something industry associations and trade unions started discussing to protect their members from.
